VerderGPM compliant with Buy American Act

The Buy American Act stipulates that federal agencies must use American-made products when purchasing goods.

Changes made to the Buy American Act on February 17, 2009, allow VerderGPM Pumps' products to qualify as American-made. Commercially available off-the-shelf items (COTS) are no longer subjected to the "components test", a test that requires domestically produced raw materials. To qualify as a COTS item, the equipment must be sold commercially in substantial quantities and available to the government in the same form as it is sold commercially. VerderGPM Pumps' products are COTS items and are therefore compliant with the Buy American Act.

Additionally, page one of the Buy American Guidance Summary, under Exceptions CFR 176.70-80, states that 'no requirement is extended with regard to the origin of components or subcomponents in manufactured goods used in the project, as long as the manufacturing occurs in the United States."

In addition to our US manufactured pumps, we source high quality components, globally, and the pumps are built and serviced in Macon, Georgia in compliance with the Buy American Act.
